Free to Roam was a beer design I created for a collaboration between Mountain Khakis and Unkown Brewing in Charlotte, NC. I was requested to create a design that was inspired by the west that contained the essence of both brands. I visualized the idea as bison running towards the viewer — the idea was to inspire those to run free towards adventure, towards the unknown. From conceptualization to execution, my goal was to combine the feel of the wild west and blend it with visuals reminiscent of the national parks and the vibrance of the spring and summer. I wanted this beer to be fun, exciting, and stand out in a slew of other beer can designs.
